Sahara Day Spa

The Sahara Day Spa also in Moose Jaw is located within walking distance of the Temple Gardens Mineral Spa. The Bali-themed spa is the only (as far as we know) spa in Canada that is recognized and certified as Jamu Spa. Jamu is an Indonesian word translating to “herbal remedies used internally and externally for health and beauty” and that is the concept behind Sahara and behind using the Jamu product line. Saskatchewan for the fitness-minded

One of the province’s signature hikes is the route to Grey Owl’s cabin in Prince Albert national Park of Canada. Another is a trip through the peaks and valleys of the Cypress Hills, exploring the Canadian Shield in the northern part of the province and roaming through the scenic Qu’Appelle Valley.

For cyclists, there are developed cycling routes in many provincial parks and recreation areas, including challenging mountain bike trails. For avid canoeists and kayakers, northern Saskatchewan ranks highly as a "great adventure" destinations. Mixed in with white water rapids, cascading waterfalls and limestone cliffs, the province also strings together dozens of quiet and beautiful lakes. The North or South Saskatchewan Rivers offers more leisurely paddle excursions.

Cross-country skiing is an easily accessible sport in Saskatchewan. Hundreds of kilometers of groomed and marked trails criss cross in parks and forests, across prairie and rolling hills, even in cities. Prince Albert National Park of Canada has an extensive network of trails and Lac La Ronge Provincial Park features a groomed cross country system that exceeds 60 kilometres.
