Perched atop a mesa in Colorado Springs and acknowledged as one of the top luxury resorts in Rocky Mountain West, Garden of the Gods Resort and Club, Colorado’s premier wellness resort (and one of our personal faves) has just completed a $40 million upgrade.
The project includes all new furnishings, bedding and décor to the spacious lodge rooms and suites, each with views of the Garden of the Gods and the Rocky Mountains. Soothing colors of soft grays, warm taupe, neutral browns, bronze, and accents of light blues and greens, are meant to encourage feelings of healing, slowing down and peace. These guest rooms also include fireplaces re-clad with a 3D textural limestone for a timeless, rustic chic vibe, and updated bathrooms with oversized showers and full-size soaking tubs creating a spa-like atmosphere.
Other enhancements include the refreshed reception area, new furnishings in the members-only The Rocks Lounge and the entirely revamped and aptly-named Grand View Restaurant, where floor-to-ceiling windows allow the dining experience to be enriched by the views to nature.
Other elements of the renovation include the addition of firepits to the patio area of The Rocks Lounge, the addition of three new tennis courts, six pickleball courts, an updated reception area and salon at Strata and more. Activities include golfing at its 27-hole championship course; tennis on two outdoor, and four state-of-the-art indoor courts; three outdoor swimming pools, and an array of dining experiences.
Adding to the renewed energy to the property are grounding feel of the new cobblestone drive, visually stunning landscaping, tranquil sound of the trickling water feature, smell of crisp mountain air and refreshing taste of the welcome elixir.
“These renovations and enhancements are the culmination of nearly a decade of investments made to the property and the people at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club,” said James Gibson, President and CEO of Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. “Both are crucial elements in the success of our business and our ability to deliver the highest caliber of service and luxury experiences.”
Brenda Smith, Co-Owner of Garden of the Gods Resort and Club adds, What we’re doing is continuing to build our legacy. This place has always been a beloved escape from reality where relaxation and revitalization are possible. Now, we’re pleased to introduce a refreshed version of Rocky Mountain paradise that will delight generations to come.” More on Garden of the Gods. Other wellness travel options in Colorado
