Ingredients
2 cups (500 mL) blueberries (fresh or frozen)
3/4 cup (190 mL) low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup (250 mL) milk
1 cup (250 mL) unsweetened pineapple juice
3 tbsp (50 mL) honey
1-1/2 cups (375 mL) ice-cubes (about 16 cubes)
Directions
In the container of an electric blender, place blueberries, yogurt, milk, pineapple juice and honey; whirl until smooth. Add ice cubes, a few at a time; whirl until finely crushed. Serve immediately.
Yield: 4 portions (about 5 cups/1.25 L)
Per portion: 200 calories, 5 g protein, 3 g fat, 40 g carbohydrate, 3 g total fat (2 g saturated fat), 2 g fibre, 16 mg vitamin C
