Ingredients
3 cups Sour Cherries
1 cup watermelon
¼ to ½ cups orange juice
¼ cup club soda
½ cup sour cream
1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 to 2 cups red wine
Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Mint leaf to garnish
Directions
Use hand blender to blend all items together, serve in chilled bowls.
Chef Cheryl writes: This recipe was taught to me by my friend and mentor the late, Chef Wilhelm (Willi) Fida, who was the Chef and owner of Angeline’s. Just to note to you that all of Willi’s recipes contained the same one ingredient. Nothing left his kitchen unless it was made with LOVE. That was one thing he always told any customer who asked for a recipe. That is the special ingredient.
