CUCUMBER/APPLE/GINGER DETOX JUICE

Makes approximately 24 ounces (3 cups) of heart-healthy juice.
6 green apples
6 large cucumbers
1 stalk lemongrass
1 small piece (thin slice) fresh ginger
3 freshly squeezed limes
• Using a juicer press the apples, ginger and lemongrass.
• Include the skin and stalks for all ingredients becasue the skin offers the highest concentration of anti-oxidants.
• Add in cucumbers and strain the juice through a very fine sieve.
• Mix in the freshly squeezed lime juice and using a cocktail shaker, shake the juice with crushed ice and serve cold.
