TTW Discount on May 2020 Retreat in New Mexico

The charming town of Santa Fe, with its expansive sky, artsy atmosphere and century-old adobes set against the dramatic backdrop of the Sangre de Cristo mountains is the ideal starting point for this five-day, four-night retreat.

Curated by Pravassa and hosted by Katheryn Schutz of Largay Travel, the wellness retreat – which  also includes a couple of days in Taos – is scheduled for May 14 to May 18, 2020. And, the best news is that Travel to Wellness newsletter subscribers get $200 off the price!

Highlights of the guided program include a welcoming sage blessing (photo below), a group grounding meditation, a private cooking class with a local chef, and a chocolate workshop led by a master chocolatier where you will learn about cacao and the challenges farmers face growing this sacred bean.

There will be forest bathing in the quiet nature of Aspen Vista with a local healer guide, and a private hot spring soaking experience surrounded by nature. You’ll meet local artisans from Taos – a bee farmer, potter, painter and weaver.  And, you’ll walk the Rio Grande area and hike to the petroglyph to see images and words carved and scratched into the black basalt of Taos’ volcanic rock.  One evening your guide will escort you on along the Rim Trail to the Labyrinth where you’ll witness the sky erupt in colors fit for an artist.
