One of Canada’s most scenic and iconic hotels will become even more magical this winter. Ice Magic will return to the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in 2024 in all of its magnificent ice sculpture-filled glory.
Here, guests can watch blocks of ice transform into intricate works of art, all backed by Banff’s unforgettable natural beauty.
Standing over Lake Louise, the crown jewel of Alberta’s stunning Banff National Park – a 2,564 square-mile (6,641 square-kilometre) piece of pristine paradise known for its dramatic Rocky Mountains and turquoise glacial lakes – the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise never fails to bring a distinctively special vibe.
Held from January 26-28 and February 2-4 (grand finals), Ice Magic invites both hotel guests and day visitors to get lost in a dreamy and glistening world of frozen excellence. The event unites renowned professional ice carvers, who will bring to life, “Moments of Bliss in Banff National Park” on the hotel’s view-filled Lakeview Terrace.
These masterpieces will be illuminated to showcase their intricate beauty come nightfall.
So, if you were looking for another reason to visit the sprawling, history-rich, and wellness-filled hotel – and you have a soft spot for all things sparkly and bright – this may just be it.
